If that check is burning a whole in your pocket
and if you were going to spend it on-line, give
a thought to entering REI via the Backpackinglight
portal    http://www.backpackinglight.com/shop/

This means one of the good guys gets a pittance
as a referral fee.  These folks evaluate stuff that REI isn't
smart enough to carry and I think it's tres cool to see
REI's money help pay for the site.  The REI logo is on
the right but takes a while to load.
