[at-l] :-) RE: Amazing animals

A young lady I use to know was in LOVE with snakes. We won't go into the
possible reasons why. :-> But her parents were "old fashinoned" when it came
to her education: They believed a young lady only needed a college education
up to the Batchelor's level if she were studying to be a teacher or a nurse.
She wanted to get a Master's.

So she worked as a "dancer" at DC area "gentleman's" club. She left the
club one cold night wearing a fake fur coat. Three very drunk frat boys
(they actually belonged to a fraternity) tried attacking her. She whipped
open her coat. There was "Baby", her pet python (or boa?) that she used in
the act. She was keeping Baby warm.

The three guys took off. One turned and manged to break a leg. One ran
smack dab into a telephone pole. And one ran down the road with a cop car
chasing him -- he finally stopped when he thought he was far enough away.

See! Even "dangerous" animals can be valuable assets. :-)

She also had a cobra and various other "babies". No she did not get her
degree in snakes. She was studying poli-sci. I think she was intending on
becoming a lawyer. ;-)

Subject: Amazing animals was Re: :-) RE: [at-l] Arresting people in the b

They found a guy here in Delaware dead in his apartment a couple of weeks
ago who was keeping, illegally, six very large monitor lizards - the paper
was delicate with the details but I talked to a buddy who's a State trooper
- I'll stick with puppies and kitties.

I don't suppose you noticed the small article this week about the man whose
pet Python killed him? It took six firemen/pararescue to unwind the snake.
The man was quite dead by the time they got it off of him - due to
asphyxiation.
