Actually I've had the canoe song half remembered and stuck in my
head for the last two weeks.  This is all I can remember:

Just a boy and a girl in a little canoe
with the moon shining all around.
And when he dipped his paddle in,
you couldn't even hear a sound.

So they talked and they talked
til the moon grew dim.
He said "You better kiss me
or get out and swim."

So watcha gonna do in a little canoe
with the moon shining all around?
