[at-l] Swearing and the *&$#! (OT)
You know, I've never really understood the whole idea of a "bad" word.
When I was a child I would be scolded if I said "crap", but "darn" and
"dang" were ok. Why is that? They both convey the same message, and
since words are just symbols and the symbols represent the same
thought/action, then what's the use? Personally, I think the whole
thing just sucks. Or maybe I just don't like it very much. Aaaah,
socialization.
