[at-l] Swearing and the *&$#! (OT)

I was just thinking on the list most of us but not all (you know who you =
are) don't usually have a foul mouth. But when some one does swear they =
use things like a@*hole or Dam* or s#*T... But I don't understand why. =
We all read this and know what is meant and we know what the real word =
is and their foul spellings. Why do we feel compelled to bleep out our =
typing? How is putting the bleeped out version any less worse then just =
typing the words? Will spelling out ass set off the at-l alarms make us =
bad people and send us to He11 when we die?
Just my little mind thinking and how we do stupid things to be =
politically correct.
