[at-l] Where the west REALLY begins



I agree with Rob's assessment of Floridian culture.  The panhandle might as well be in Mississippi and North Florida is very much a Southern culture.  South Florida is New York City with sand and palm trees.  The trouble I think here is in thinking that all of Southern culture is somehow one big "Bubba".  It ain't.  That's just one more Southern type or stereotype.  Oh Bubba is real alright, he just ain't universal.
