I walk in rain when others (mundanes) would not. I've had students and
faculty/staff offer to share umbrellas with me when I never would think of
using one -- "It's just a drizzle." Guess I've done it so much that some
just point and say "He's a backpacker." Which may be why I stay away from
the one bus route that goes way out into the country -- it runs by several
hospitals.
????
Think "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". Oh well, I know I am, but what are
you? :-)

It's raining here. It very rarely rains this time of
year. Normal people check that the windows are closed,
that sort of thing. Me, I grab the silponcho and stand
out in the backyard for 20 minutes to test the seam
sealing job I did. Then, I head back inside and grab
the other siljacket I sealed, and go out for another
20 minutes. I'm even now considering setting up the
new hammock/tarp to check them....
