 The Park director added cell phones to the list of banned electronic devices 
in specific response to a day hiker who climbed up to the tableland and 
phoned out asking that a helicopter take her back down.
 It had nothing to do with cells 'intruding on wilderness'. If Buzz really 
wanted to preserve/restore/disintrude wilderness to/in Baxter he'd have to 
start by removing the cabin campgrounds, and he'll never do that.
 Ironically, the ban means very little. According to the Rangers there are 
only a few spots in the whole park where a cell would work at all.
