[at-l] weather fiasco

Isn't back packing gear wonderful during a winter power outage!  However, I
have a gas fireplace, so, cold is not an issue.  I'll often, when it's cold
out, light the fire, open a window and climb inside my down bag.  One must
keep in practice!

The sturdy flashlight is charged, and my pack, sleeping bag, and other
gear are in the living room. Backpacking is great prep for this kind of
thing, although I tend to resent freezing in my own home.
