The Florida Listers have kept us apprised of the lottery of their fair state
as as it passed the $45 million mark and kept going up to $80 million.

So, I was interested to hear this afternoon that a fellow I know slightly in
this town, a popular horse show announcer, was one of eight people who won
the jackpot. A Carolina boy won the pot 'o gold.

After taxes, say, $6 mil. He said he and his wife had been wanting to slow
down, come off the road. They are late 40s, early 50s.
