[at-l] Snake bite kits, was "Weight/Use" efficiency

>From Chris Townsend's book:

"... I carried Coghlan's Snake Bite Kit (2 oz) ... The current advice
though is NOT TO USE KITS, because an untrained person could easily cause
more harm than the bite itself. Instead the recommendation is to wash the
bite with soap and water, then bandage it and keep the limb hanging down to
minimize the chance of venom entering the bloodstream. The victim should
stay still and rest while someone goes for assistance."

>From Cindy Ross' book:

"Never use a snake bite kit to cut and suck out the venom, says maynard
Cox, founder and director of the North Florida Snakebite Treatment Center
... He says "The poison is walled in by itself in the capillary beds at the
bite site for 12 hours" ..."

So you can save 2 more oz.
