[at-l] osprey packs

hi, I know your just looking for a review but they are worthless IMO
A pack on person A will not be the same on person B or person D,E,K,L go
with what is best for you... this is one of if not the most important piece
of gear you will buy

i knew at least a half dozen hikers on the trail this past year who had
osprey packs... 3 loved it 1 hated hated hated it ... and no idea about
the others..
find a store in your tristate area and go try all the packs on... make sure
you are able to add weight to them and walk around the store with each
pack...thats important.... settle on a pack that carrys the weight well and
is built for the amount of weight you want to carry, has a tad more cubic
inches than what you you will need(you can compress a pack to take up room
but it hard to make a pack larger) but most importantly feels good on
YOU..... if the store doesnt want to be bothered with loading packs or wont
let you ... walk out the door...and find another store... they dont want
your money and dont care about fit....... if your gear is real clean (like
new)they may let you pack the packs with your gear to try out... but most
have sandbags or something yu can use

or do yu have a place near where you can rent packs? schools are good for
renting gear...
