Answer to RE: [at-l] New thread about names



You get back in the hills.  Run you some dew from a good still which is
usually dug down in a hillside near a stream.  And if you tinker with your
engine, it can run your car.  And old timers frequently did that.  I think
also the old cars were less likely to have trouble with the alcohol in the
shine than later cars.

In fact, even today, if you get a government permit, you are allowed to run
still to make "gasahol" as an experiment.  Of course I've known a few
gallons to "go a walking" and not end up in cars. BUT only drink copper
still dew (shine, white lightening, etc.).  Other stills may be contaminated
by lead.

Ok, I'm a little lost on this one.  I understand moonshine, and I
understand dew, but I'm not sure how he could rake either one off of the
ground and run his car on it...
