The Three Blizzateers (Ole!).
We'd just walked out of the woods after a three day
blizzard swept down from Canada into central Maine and
dumped 18 inches of snow on us.
Left to Right: Bear, Datto, Frogger.

PS: You 2002 northbound thru-hikers...you might want
to finish your thru-hike by October 1st -- the weather
gets just a wee bit cold in Maine during October.
Brrr...makes me cold again just looking at this photo.
