[at-l] Racism on or around the AT



Somewhat related...

My friend, Doug, told me that during his thru in '79 he started out with a
couple from up north who were afraid to go into Suches. Apparently they had
heard that "'dem 'southern folk' didn't take a liken to dem 'yankees'" ...
They never did go into Suches....
