Lessee. We parked at Weakley Hollow, strolled down the road to,
um.. Piney Ridge? Walked up past the Catlett Ridge Trail, narrowly
avoid Sam's Ridge (the trail of Dire Consequences) and
headed down Broad Hollow back to the car.

We had lunch somewhere in the middle. I don't know where, but
it was beautiful. We saw some views off the first ridge,
but I couldn't tell you what we were looking at. :) The
lunch spot was pretty much ideal, IMHO. Piney trees of some
sort, with a lovely flat area underneath upon which to lounge.
And lots of cushy needles. Just the sort of place I used to
like to nap in when I was a wee lass.

I like Hazel Country a lot, except for Sam's Ridge. And if there'd
been snow, we woulda walked through it. :) We did walk
on some ice..

Amusing to me was that I was *trying* to do a trail I hadn't
done before. Turns out I had done it before, and forgot. Sheesh.
At least this time I did it in a different direction. And
didn't get stuck half way up Broad Hollow with the sun going
down..

Yep. Love the Hazel Country. Staying away from Sam's Ridge.
And the White Rocks trail too, especially when it's full
of acorns. (Nuts! I said, over and over, while sliding
down the mountain.)
