I just returned from three weeks in 'zona, and we have a food question.
Yum! The week before I left, Tom and I were taking turns cooking, trying to
empty out the refrigerator and pantry. I decided to tackle the left-over
lemon pepper turkey tenderloin. I looked in the pantry, which includes a
hiking food shelf. I grabbed a box mix, angel hair and herbs, and threw in
chunks of turkey. Served it with pestoed spaghetti squash. I held my breath
as the Italian chef dug in. "Yum! This is really good. What did you put
with the angel hair?" Wish you could have seen his face when I said,
"Liptons"!

Give Me Chocolate

PS The funny thing is he used to use commercial backpacking food when he
went out on short trips. (And he has a nice dehydrator, too.) I tried a
scrambled egg breakfast, and now I refuse...
