A ($22) bottle/filter combo allows dual use of a water bottle
(at a weight penalty of 1 oz(?) over a lighter soda bottle), and
you can put the very inexpensive (at $6-$10) filter elements
(3oz(?)in a pack pocket if/when you decide to not bother. I've
had mine for 400+ AT/LT/KT miles now, and have used it at least
once. Light, easy to use, inexpensive, and dual use.
