[at-l] Section hikes: NJ --> Maine
Bill
The train is the Harlem Division of Metro North Commuter Line:
http://www.mta.nyc.ny.us/mnr/html/planning/schedules/sched_form.cfm. It
terminates at Grand Central (a short subway ride from Penn Station). There
is a train station right on the trail (the "AT Station") with weekend only
service. The "Harlem Valley-Wingdale" Station is north of the trail on Rt.
22 about 2-3 miles and Pawling is south about the same distance. These have
service every day. Pawling is the bigger town. Transit time is around 1
hour 45 minutes. The track closely parallels Rt. 22 here so a good road map
will show this area.
