[at-l] Car camping coffee

For car camping / motel hopping, a coffee press makes good coffee -- albeit
I wouldn't back pack one.

Subject: [at-l] Car camping coffee

> Three girlfriends & I (two non-hikers) are planning a Maine trip this
summer--fly in and rent a car, stay in hostels & motels. To save $$ I'm
thinking of taking my tin can stove & pot(s) and doing some quick, cheap
breakfasts and other meals at a picnic spot or in the motel. They will each
bring a bowl, cup & spoon. One gal MUST have REAL (not instant) coffee, and
I suspect the others would appreciate it too. Since I'm a tea drinker, I'm
clueless on the coffee front. What's the easy & inexpensive solution to the
real coffee problem? Little pot & a thermos or somethng else? Remember,
we'll have to pack this stuff in regular suitcases.
