".... I'm just real skitty about doctors and the things they do," reports OB,
our only list member who admits to being a medical doctor.

 I was chatting with my doctor about how when I was a kid the doctors treated an
 allergy that caused me to cough uncontrollably for months at a time. They kept
 a hot salve on my chest for days. When the irriation caused my skin to break
 out in a rash, the doctors would all exclaim, "Ah, the poison is finally coming
 out."

 My doctor's response: "Did they really do that?" Then he paused, and said,
 "Well we do different, but equally dumb things today."
