[at-l] Esbit stove weight (was Zip stove - questions)

The Esbit brand stove weighs in at ~3.25 ounces. Using it requires no pot
stand.

The Tin Can Stove Man combo alcohol/Esbit stove weighs in at .5 oz. My
bottom of a soda can Esbit (non-alcohol) stove barely weighs in at all at
less than .25 oz. Either of these requires a separate pot stand. I made
one out of hardware cloth that weighs in at .5 oz. Either of these give me
a complete stove weighing less than an ounce.

Does anybody have the weight of the Esbit wing stove handy? That's probably
less than the Esbit brand stove and also requires no separate pot stand but
I'm wondering how it compares with the homemade Esbit stoves.

FWIW, I used on average one tablet (.5 oz.) per dinner meal. I don't cook
breakfast or hot drinks. Hard to beat the weight of the Esbit if you can
handle the maildrop schedule that's otherwise necessary. Stove and fuel for
one week weigh less than 4.5 oz. :-)
