Year one and two was nothing much. Year three, we got about 8ins
the day before (i think) The main highways were clear, the road
up over the mountain was icy, snowy in patches, mainly in the
shade, but well cindered.

POG got stuck, mainly because they didn't plow the lot for us. They
didn't believe there would be enough of us to need it! Hah!

Now...they know <g>.

I not that familiar with the area to know for sure, but I'd bet on local
capabilities to more or less conquer 6-8 within 24hrs. How much
or if we get any snow, too early to tell. There is a link
to more or less local weather on the PaRuck site, although that
city is probable 1000ft (?) lower in altitude than the Mansion.

I bet they charge extra for snow tires because they have to swap
out the tires?? Would it make sense to drive that car north until
or if you have a problem and swap it out locally?

Dunno...no experience in renting cars.
