Actually, a Li Ch'ing-Chao fan. I even have a signed copy (by James Cryer, translator) of Plum Blossom, sadly out of print.

Her's is an amazing story of a woman (born AD 1084) breaking the through societal barriers and the disrespect of women to become respected as China's greatest composer of Tz'u a poetic form which had just come into vogue during the Sung Dynasty.
