As I remember in Year 2000, on only one day a week was
the mail delivered and receivable at the top of Mt.
Washington. Caused some thru-hikers (Chief 2000 for
one) who had a package mailed to them at the top of
Mt. Washington to have to scramble to get the maildrop
in time. Chief, Ra-ru and I went up the most
horrendous, nasty storm to the top of Mt. Washington
and Chief got his maildrop (it had money in it and
Chief was fresh out).

Datto

PS: Thru-hikers...when you reach the top of Mt.
Washington, go inside the building there and watch the
publicly-displayed video of breakfast being served on
Mt. Washington. What a scream! One of the funniest
videos I've seen. Evidently a bunch of frustrated
comedians work up there at the weather center.
