I like this small single blade knife (Schrade) from Walmart. It has a socket in the back and a small clip that plugs into this socket. The clip I keep permanently fastened to my pack shoulder strap. This keeps this little folding knife (about a three inch blade) where it is always handy. They sell other sizes that have the clip feature also. I also like the tiny Swiss Army knife with tweezers, toothpick and blade.
