No I wouldn't take the BakePacker on a through hike or long section hike. You're right Lesllie too
much to deal with. But, it does certainly open up eating possibilities and if you have the time and
are willingt to carry the extra weight in fuel, the Bakepacker itself, a larger pot (it won't fit
real small ones), and to a degree the food itself, then you sure can have a lot of interesting
meals.
I'd also carry it on a winter trip if it were in a pulk or being floated along with me and the rest
of my stuff in a canoe.
