   Yes, I used two bags. One, a 20 degree down and one, a 35 degree 
synthetic. I always used a silk liner as it is lighter than a fleece liner 
and it keeps your bag cleaner. If I hike the CDT or what ever, I will only 
take my 20 degree down with silk liner.  Dare
