[at-l] Re: Suggerstions for Year 2002 Thru-hikers

Well, I got told this by someone that knew I was doing it. They said after
their thru-hike was over that they wished they would have been doing it my
way.

When you schedule a day off, schedule it for the woods and not for town.
Take it in the woods and not in town. Get yourself the rest that you get by
taking a day off in the woods and doing nothing instead of taking a day off
in town and finding yourself constantly running around to the grocery,
laundrymat, post office, etc. When you are constantly running your not
getting any rest, your just foolin' yourself. Take a day off in the woods
and you WILL take the day off and get the rest you need.
