*** There's no AT-L FAQ's because the List runs on the fly and is
self-regulated. You don't really need a FAQ because most are glad to answer
any questions you have on Trail life. There *is* an archives where you could
search the same topic -but I recommend just asking fresh.

The question of doing a honeymoon hike is a shaky one because many don't
realize what they are biting off before they go. This is not a set situation
because it depends on who you are, how you get along, your camping
experience, your tolerances for many stress factors; including physical,
psychological, and weather-wise.

Some relationships have been severely strained on such an extreme
adventure where unseen sides emerge under trying circumstances. I'm no expert
on this, but I suggest knowing exactly what you are getting into before
committing to an AT 5 months of sweat and strain "honeymoon". On the other
hand, it could be a real relationship builder. This isn't my forte, so I'll
leave it the others who are sure to chime in...

One thing most through-hiker alumni envy is the optimism of a new hiker
planning his unknown Trail adventure like we all did at one time...
