Esbit fuel comes in .5 ounce tabs that burn for a total of 15 minutes and 
will boil 2 cups of water in about 7-8 minutes (assuming you use a 
windscreen).  There are other types of tabs (hexamine, etc) out there too 
that may be less expensive.  They may also be smaller so check out how many 
you would need to do the same amount of cooking.

There are "official" Esbit stoves but the bottom of a tin can alcohol stove 
(just turn the whole stove over) works just as well assuming you have a pot 
support.
