[at-l] thru-hike question: Stoves

The fuel pellets, like the Esbit stoves, are not particularly new.
These are a solid pellet with wax and other combustibles that make a
pretty good flame. Some have even experimented with firestarters and
fabricated "logs" for suburban fireplace use. Coleman's makes a pellet
and pellet stove that you can usually find in their outlets.
Military/survivalist supply stores have different pellets that some
feel are less safe.

There shouldn't be a problem with simply putting an Esbit pellet on the
top of a Pepsi Can stove, or on a piece of tin foil for that matter.

BTW, has anyone around here ever dealt with tin foil?
