[at-l] hiking poles



My Lekis don't make much noise, if any.  They're the kind that you twist to
tighten.  One of my hiking partners has a different brand, though; hers has
a snap mechanism for setting the length you want.  Her poles make a lot of
noise, I think.  Those snaps make a clicking sound every time she plants the
poles.  anklebear
