[at-l] Annular Solar Eclipse Today

   A partial annular eclipse will happen later today in the evening sky. The 
moon will partly obscure the sun towards sunset in the west. Here in southern 
Florida our best view will be 60% coverage 1* off the horizon at sunset. 
Those lucky enough to be on the Nicoya Peninsula, or Arenal Volcano, Costa 
Rica will see a full annular ring eclipse for nearly 4 minutes. The 
equatorial mid-Pacific will see the best view with nearly 15 minutes of 
eclipse. Hawaii will be the best US location with 85% coverage. 

   Last night saw a meteor shower warm-up with many east to west shooting 
stars. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the space station overhead for the 3rd 
time in 3 tries...
