The only problem I have found with them is that the paint tends to flake
off the lower section of the pole very quickly.  Perhaps they have
corrected this since I bought mine, but it is really no problem anyway
since they are made of aluminum and don't rust.  I bought mine from REI.

This also happened to mine,  but only on one of them even though they
both recieve the same amount of use.  Strange.......
