[at-l] Dehydrating pears

Navigator-

My mom dehydrated pears for us and sent them in our
maildrops - they were delicious.  She cored them,
sliced thin, and dried.  The skin was left on, but if
you don't like it you could peel them.  I liked them
much better than the ones you buy, but I find that
true of just about anything I home-dry (esp. bananas).
