I've had a bear in Shenandoah step onto the trail in front of me and
back me down the trail. Big bully. Just cause she's huge and strong
and cranky, she thinks she can tell me what to do. Which in fact she
can, but it's still not very nice.

The time the deer tripped over the tent was a couple of hours after
the aforementioned bear incident. I took a nap after the bear left
because the adrenalin rush wore me out. Woke up to a deer who sounded
a lot like a bear tripping over my tent. :) I poked my head out
to find that I had evidently set my tent up in a deer cafeteria. They
were all over the place. I had to shoo them away from the tent.
