Hi,

If you're asking for my personal experience, then yes, there is.
I've done it all - Zinc, Vtamin C, echinaciea, goldenseal, steam,
homeopathic remedies - and thought they helped MAYBE a little.

There was no wondering with Kan Jang (andographis). It just plain
knocked my cold down - dramatically. Sometimes I would already have the
fever, sniffles and aches.
But this is my reaction to the plant. My pithy-but-beloved brother, who
has chronic sinusitis, tried it and said the tablets made him sick. He
took them without food (which I do routinely) and gave up without a
retrial.
BTW, my cold is still at bay and this has been a hellaciously busy
week... triple-time stress... no time yet or needed rest.

If you want the science, it is out there, but I must pack now to leave
for the weekend, so if no one has dredged any up by next Monday, I will
do a web search and pass it along.

Andrographis is much better known in Europe. I don't think it is
botanically related to Echinacea, but I will check that out too if
noone does it first.

Best,
Jan
