No, it isn't worth noting Jack.  The post you were responding to was an 
explanation of why the Canadians view today's holiday (called Remembrance 
Day in Canada) differently than we do in the US.  The reference to 
responding the call of King and country was not a suggestion that the US 
should have a king.  I thought the whole thing was very clear and 
obvious.  Both the original post and Malcomb's response.
