Just for the record, I fly the flag today to honor all the people who have 
given us the freedom we have today, especially the ones that make it their 
life's work to do so - and those who gave their lives.  I really don't care 
if they/you fought in a popular war, or an unpopular one, or even if you are 
fighting in the "war" currently happening against terrorism.  Many of you are 
in uniform, although some are not.  Today is about all the people who have 
sacrificed themselves, whether in giving their life or simply by leading 
their life, dedicated to taking care of those of us who get to worry about 
things like mortgages or kids or jobs without worrying about why we have the 
luxury of worrying about those things - instead of the things that people in 
other countries have to worry about.

Although I am not in the military, and not even a support person for them 
anymore - I salute you all.
