[at-l] "Endurance" etc. (OT)



I'm not Felix, but...

In all the 10 years that we were Hoosiers, the newspaper would have  an
annual rehashing of that very problem of what the word means, and there is
no answer.  There were a lot of lame jokes, but no definitive answer.  One
train of thought was that in the old days people, in trying to identify each
other, would ask, "Who's yer folks?"  That sort of thing was the closest
guess to the meaning.
