[at-l] light shoes



I get leaks generally around 1,000 miles (Vasque Sundowners). They are about
shot by then anyway (the top linings rot out). One pair got leaks in BOTH heels
after only 100 miles - barely broken in - and REI took them back without a
word.

I agree this whole issue may come down to individual feet perspiration, or as
Red suggests, sock strategies. I love my boot off breaks - 3 per day.
