[at-l] pulaskis, ham supper and wolves

Ginny,
Thanks for the report, for the Trail Maintenance, and the wolf site. One of
my hiking companions is a wolf (90+% anyway) and looks very much like the one
pictured on the site except my girl is black along the upper back with the
rest being white with a tinge of tan in some places. They are wonderful
intelligent creatures but do require good training as pups and the vigilance
to anticipate and handle their periodic tests to determine who's the boss.
Callie is my second wolf companion, her predecessor, Katy, was the smartest
animal I have ever had the pleasure of being with, a true friend. I have been
around animals of all kinds much of my life and as a kid had pet crows,
skunks, coons & squirrels as well as the normal country boy pets. Both of my
wolves have been super with people but pretty aggressive with other animals
and most dogs. Callie has yet to meet a person that she dislikes, alittle odd
since most dogs find some people they don't care much to be around.
Again thanks for the Trail Work.
