Are they Gore-tex or not...inquiring minds need to know.  There's a
difference...Gore-tex, just wear them in with a few day hikes and keep them
clean...not Gore-tex, no clue...

I just bought a pair of Vasque Clarion boots.  I was wondering if I need to
apply a waterproof spray, or treat them before I start really breaking them
in.  I spent more $$ on these suckers, so I want to make sure they last.
