Hello all,
I am contemplating a section hike from Springer to Damascus, or
somewhere there abouts, in
the
late spring/early summer. Being a cheapskate at heart (plus poor), I
was looking to pick up the two relevant AT conf. guides at a used
bookstore. It occured to me that some of the information might
perhaps be out of date. Most of the guides that I have found
are from the early-mid 80s. For those who
know, is there any
reason to spend the cash for more up-to-date versions?
Or should I be looking sources of info other than those the
ATC puts out. Mostly, I need logistical information.
Thanks,
Chris
