[at-l] Hike AT over Sratton Mt

The Arlington West-Wardsboro Rd. was in fine shape as of August. The
AT/LT crossing is easy to see, it just takes longer than you think to
get there.

The shelter at Stratton Pond is new, don't know if it's the one you
refer to. It will be quite crowded at both the shelter and the North
Shore camping area this weekend, despite the rain. There is another
camping area (don't know if it's stealth or not any more) at Bourne
Pond--the next pond west of Stratton Pond. There is a trail but I
don't remember the name, all I remember is the moose than went past
my campsite and into the pond.

The Long Trail Guide will have this info. or go to:
http://www.sover.net/~kenandeb/topo/longtrail/index.html#links and
click on the "Long Trail" link, this will get you to maps.

"There are three great times for thinking --
On the john, in the shower, and while hiking.
And the best of these is while hiking."
