[at-l] Gathering for the first time

As an AT Section Hiker, I am timid in AT circles.  To date after hiking ME, 
MA and CT, I've never had an AT hiking companion, never stayed with anyone 
more than one night and only this year have ever been in contact with anyone 
after the hike.  (I hike south.)  Which isn't at all bad, the solitude is 
nice.

However, I'm thinking it's time to stop being shy and maybe join in a little 
more.  Toward that end, does anyone need a ride?  I'll be coming from 
Northwest Pennsylvania, travelling the New York Throughway.  I plan on 
leaving Thursday mid-afternoon or so.

Post Gathering is the hard part for me.  I'll be headed to Rockport, ME 
afterwards to pick up my 4yr son, and then return to Albany NY to work for a 
day, and then back to PA.  So at least one way will be easy.
