...Finished the CDT today and is on his way to New England to finish the 
calendar year Triple Crown!  

>From what I understand he'll start hiking from Bennington, VT Monday morning 
and will most likely walk into the Gathering sometime Friday, a mere 26 1/2 
miles per day.  His average for the CDT and PCT was an astounding average of 
30 miles a per day!  

Even with lousy weather, he'll still have three months to complete the 575 
miles left of the AT and his journey before years end.  If the weather 
cooperates he should be able reach Katahdin sometime mid to late October.

Pretty cool........
