Actually, it is interesting how folks learn of news events. Often
outside world events are learned only at trail crossings. Major events,
such as the WTC & Pentagon terror attacks, may be heard from folks

The ATC bulletin recently discussed a frequent event of attempting to
get news or contact to a family member during crisis or family illness.
This can be very difficult to complete due to the uncertain nature of
location, the type of news, privacy issues and other considerations.
