[at-l] Where do you put your packs at night?

I used to hang my pack in a tree. In fact I carried two ropes. First I would
through a line from one tree to another (over branches) and then tie them
off. I would use the second rope to throw over the first one and pull my bag
up. I then tied the second rope off to a tree.
This worked untill a REAL windy night when my pack came crashing to the
ground. From that day forward I kept my pack inside my tent vestibule.
